Well it’s been a stressful few days since the girls arrived.
My cabin is 7 girls, all 13 and they are a very very mixed bunch. We have a french girl who speaks little english, two ‘water balloons’, two cliquey girls and two genuinely lovely girls. So far they’re getting along okay, but I can sense tension :/
The french girl Oceane has already improved so much- she’s more talkative and confident now than two days ago when she wouldn’t speak!

 Annie is proving a little more complex than we thought- none of the admin staff seem bothered about drama at all so I’m left with no music and only $15 dollars for the whole summer to get it all…. but we’re getting there. The girls are all really good, we did the auditions today and it was so difficult picking the cast, it took me all of siesta to decide and I’m still not sure!

The days are long, and tiring, but the more we do the more fun it is. Counting down til my day off, and lock down is over wednesday which is good! :D

I just need it to rain now, it’s been really close and hot all week. Hopefully a storm’s a-brewing!
