Today was the BEST DAY so far without a doubt. We had staff bonding games, this weird guy came to play games with us. It was fun. We all got little monkey things at the end.

Today was also super super hot. It started raining so we all put jackets and trousers on, then it got wayyyy too hot. Especially when playing games in the rec hall, super warm.

Started to plan cabin activities, which I’m kinda struggling with ‘cause there’s no real structure or aim (except Mohawk’s Mission) and I just don’t get it. Lesson planning is much easier. Still haven’t done it. Will do it soon!

I really want the girls to get here now though, I feel like I’ve been told how not to abuse girls 1million times, I know how to do what I need to, I just want chance to do it. 

I still can’t get over how beautiful it is here, the fireflies are just magical. The chipmunks are beyond adorable, I want to steal one for my sister she’d love one! The insects are not quite as likeable though :P 

The girls in our cabin had a huge ‘The Differences Between the Americans and the English’ conversation last night, which was so much fun.

Today, I feel like we’ve bonded. We’re a family now, not just girls who have to live together.
